Genioplasty and Corrective Chin Surgery

A genioplasty reshapes or repositions the chin bone to change the chin's projection, height, or symmetry. Depending on the treatment plan, the chin can be moved forward, backward, vertically, or sideways without moving the teeth. It can address a recessed, prominent, or asymmetric chin and may be performed alone or with corrective jaw surgery.
